About Jharkhand College Dumri
Jharkhand College, Dumri , Giridih was established in the year 1985 with the contribution of local MLA, social worker educationist to enlighten the lamp of higher education in this area. The college is running in much pleasant environment around the block of Dumri & it is surrounded with Topchanchi , Nawadih, Bagodar & Pirtand Block.
The college acquires 10:21 acres land. The infrastructure of institution are constructed with two storied several buildings separated with different blocks . There is well fencing boundary wall, Lecture room, laboratory library, common rooms, lavatory, computer lab, IQAC , Cafeteria, cycle & car parking shed, solar plant of 50KVA & Play Ground etc. The college is NAAC Accredited with B+ Grade. It is also an ISO Certificated Institution registered with 2(f) & 12(B) of UGC and with society act 1860.
Jharkhand college , Dumri is permanently affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University with three faculties Arts. Science, Commerce. There are two units of NSS & NCC. For smooth functioning of the academic activities, there are different cells running under IQAC. Institution has also the indoor , outdoor game facility & a bus for transportation facilities to the students. Co-curricular and extra curricular activities are the special attraction of the college.
